A few words about us

The company is incorporated and domiciled in Zimbabwe. Its registered address is 34 Edison Crescent Graniteside, Harare. Having commenced its operations in 1998 the company performed very well during the period to 2008 as it enjoyed favorable trading conditions. However 2008-2009, the company experienced operational difficulties which coincided with a harsh macroeconomic environment affecting the Zimbabwe economy.

However we experienced an upsurge in trade from 2010 to date. This can be attributed partly to the favorable economic environment ushered in by the introduction of the US Dollar regime and the experience and tenacity garnered during the harsh trading environment that engulfed Zimbabwe during the past decade.

The Company’s business model is premised on a built-in self-regulatory mechanism whereby the company monitors and ensures adherence to law, ethical standards, and international norms.

While the principal goal is to maximize returns to its shareholders, the company wants to embrace the responsibility for the impact of its activities on customers, communities, stakeholders, and all the other members of the public sphere. The company therefore deliberately includes public interest in corporate decision-making.

The company provides packaging solutions to bakery and takeaway departments in supermarkets, Hotels, restaurants, and individual bakers. We also pride ourselves on swift delivery periods on all our orders. Currently, we cover almost all chain stores in Zimbabwe and managed to open branches in Harare, Bulawayo, Gweru, and Masvingo targeting mainly individual bakers, restaurants, and hotels.

Manufacturing of plastics, some bakery, and take-away ingredients
Supplying and distribution of wrapping and packaging material

Kumbirai Katiyo

Marketing and Chief Executive Officer

Mr. K. Katiyo is a successful entrepreneur in his own right. He is one of the founding Directors of the Company. He holds a Diploma in I.M.M (Institute of Marketing Management) and is currently pursuing studies in A.C.C.A. A qualified and astute marketer, Mr. Katiyo’s contribution to the company in this area has been immense. His style of management has brought together a cohesive team of managers and staff.

With over 10 years’ experience in the field, he has worked for Kashep Enterprises in the same capacity for the last 7 (seven) years. He is eminently qualified to oversee the integration of the company’s activities with the needs of our main customers.

Julius T. Chivandire

GENERAL MANAGER

Mr. Chivandire is responsible for providing leadership and management to the business and fully responsible for the day-to-day running of all departments. He focuses on developing programs that deliver efficiency and playing a leading role in the mobilization, development of robust operational processes. He is a holder of a Diploma in Stores Management and Stock control.

Jacob Timburwa

Finance manager

An aspiring young man spear heading the accounts department with his demonstrated leadership strengths and proven ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a fast paced environment with critical deadlines. He is involved in supporting the company with internal auditing, budgeting control, risk management and regulatory / law compliance. He is also responsible for preparing monthly and yearly financial statements.

He has got past experience as he previously worked at auto cell tech (Mozambique) as an accountant, Aloe properties (Zimbabwe) as an accountant and Rawplast (Zimbabwe) as an assistant accountant. He is a holder of a Bachelor of Accounting Degree (Honors) 2.1 with Great Zimbabwe University and currently studying towards Master of Professional Accounting (UNISA)

Molly Kamwanda

HEAD OF SALES AND MARKETING

A professional with over 10 years of extensive knowledge and experience in the field of Marketing. A strategic team player who excels at building trusting relationships with colleagues through open communication resulting in high satisfaction levels from clients/customers while attaining company goals. Very passionate about customer service excellence; possesses a genuine love for working with people. An effective communicator who interacts well with people on all levels and can adapt to change very easily. Flexible in her approach and can adjust to different situations where appropriate.

She is a holder of a Bachelor of Commerce Business Management Honours Degree from Midlands State University (MSU) and a Master of Science in Strategic Management (MScSM) from Chinhoyi University of Technology (CUT). A qualified Digital Marketer with the Marketers Association of Zimbabwe (MAZ).

OSWAALD M. MADZIWA

HUMAN RESOURCES MANAGER

Oswaald Maxwell Madziwa is the Human Resources Manager for Kashep Enterprises. Mr. Oswaald, a qualified and experienced Human Capital Practitioner, joined Kashep in November 2018. Before joining Kashep, Oswaald held various HR portfolios in different sectors of the economy within the nation of Zimbabwe.
